My overall impression
Michael Shaw Fisher, in his much-anticipated return to non-musical theatre, turns the ever-sturdy living room play roughly on its head, shakes the change from its pockets, steals its shirt, pants and shoes and sets off on a very funny, very angry, very bawdy romp around sexual politics all while savagely tarring and feathering the dire state of American society at large. “Amazing Sex Life of Rabbits” is a well-cast, whip-smart, laugh-a-minute, crowd-pleasing ride for this exact moment. A real joy. Pure entertainment start to finish. An exhilarating blast of unbridled energy from one of Hollywood Theatre Row’s most important and enduring voices.
