I had a fantastic time, I laughed, I cried, and I contemplated. It was absolutely awesome. Highly recommend unless you’re a sensitive talent agent. ... full review

Very well-written and thought-out genuine human predicament under a comedic light. I had a great laugh that evening! From the physical comedy to the niche humor, I hope this will be expanded into a full play. This is definitely something I will pay to come see again. This quality of work is what I expect to see in union and broadway productions.... full review

A well-written and well-performed comedy about power dynamics, confronting your reality, and how much work sucks. I was hooked from the first moment and enjoyed every moment.... full review

DECKHAND is a fast-paced, high volume comedy you do not want to miss. You will love to root for the timid assistant and love to hate this manchild of a boss. If I had to be picky, I would say I wished there was a bit more variation in dynamics (in the musical sense. it was basically 40 minutes straight of yelling), and—Slight Spoiler—I wished I could identify the exact moment that the assistant turned, though I do recognize it happened in progression. Overall, I absolutely ADORED this duo show—acting, writing, staging and all. One of my fringe favorites, I would gladly go see it again!... full review

Grace and Christopher embark on a “four hour cruise” that hammers at something real. Deckhand - while hilarious - is grounded by stellar performances. I feel like I’ve seen this conversation erupt at The Grove and their range and commitment brought it to life. It kept me so invested. It helped make all the pain and frustrations and mania so earned and also- exquisite. So delightful. If you’ve ever worked a nine to five or two to ten or four to one and expected more after years of soul grinding service, then you will find catharsis here. The lunch special is laughter and they’re generous with the spoon. A genuine treat. Thank you both.... full review

This was so fun, I was laughing from start to finish; the hour flew by and I could’ve stayed watching for much longer. And, alongside all the comedy, it also had real heart at the center. Both actors portrayed their side of these opposite characters very well.... full review

Wow is my first choice of words. Superb performances by two very talented actors that kept the audience laughing and engaged from start to finish. The energy and emotions throughout were fantastic. Grace Guy is headed for Broadway once discovered. I’m going back for this Sundays performance to get more of a good thing. ... full review
