What I liked
Jenni pulls off the most delicate balance of an absolute wining personality and dark hints that maybe she’s a little cracked in the head (just wait to see what she is rolling behind her onstage when she enters!) But she does indeed pull it off and her character is wildly likable.
The brisk direction and tight scripting were excellent.

My overall impression
In an ocean of Fringe shows straining for spectacle, one of the best of the year is a simple story, very well told with genuine characters just trying to find a little…happiness. With two extremely endearing and talented leads, this stage rom-com (something quite difficult to pull of onstage!) presents two yearning, maybe slightly damaged people who thoroughly drill themselves into our hearts. Jenni and Newton have wild chemistry as actors! Really great!
