The space was spacious yet intimate and the stage set up was warmly simple. Andrea’s ability to connect with the audience and playfully banter with whatever’s happening in that very moment with the audience while still on track with her set should be studied. Throughout the show I was either tearing up from deep belly laughs and / or hearing about her hardships haha it was hard to tell at some points because though she shares heavy stuff, she has a knack for making you laugh at the ridiculousness of it all. And in times like these, with all that’s going on in the world, we need to learn how to laugh at the ridiculousness of it all.
What I didn't like
no notes, love her!
My overall impression
Andrea is an incredibly captivating storyteller, yes even at 11:55pm. She gave the room immense energy, made us feel comfortable as she took us along for the ride which was equally as hilarious as it was gut-wrenching. I am in deep awe of her ability to share the traumas in her life in a way that sheds light while simultaneously making light of what she endured and how it’s shaped her journey. Her performance was incredibly raw, honest, and playfully engaging. I love her and would 10000% see this again and anything she does!!!
