Andrea’s timing is impeccable, and her writing is razor-sharp. The show moves fast, but she never skips the emotional truth beneath the jokes. It’s dark, but never bleak—there’s real warmth and perspective woven through every outrageous story.
What I didn't like
Perhaps an animatronic aunt in the next version?? :)
My overall impression
Adventures of a Slutty Girl With an Eating Disorder is raw, hilarious, and unapologetically honest. Andrea Abbate lays it all out—sex, drugs, shame, survival—with the confidence that comes from having lived through the mess and come out the other side knowing exactly who you are… all the while keeping up laughing / making it look effortless. So good.
