What I liked

Everything!

What I didn't like

The show was incredibly powerful and what stood out most was its ability to balance humor and vulnerability. If anything, leaning even more into those moments and more moments of emotional resonance could make the impact even more unforgettable. I WANTED TO WATCH MORE!

My overall impression

“A Slutty Girl With An Eating Disorder” left a lasting impact on me. It was an emotional rollercoaster. It was hilarious one moment and deeply moving the next. Through Andrea Abbate’s raw but truthful storytelling, I learned about her complex past, including addiction, eating disorders, and the powerful theme of losing your sense of self to the people and struggles that shape you. I laughed, I cried, and most unexpectedly, I saw my own life reflected in hers. It reminded me that it’s never too late to forgive yourself. I walked out of that theater still buzzing and discussing its themes for days afterward. It was a reminder to embrace your younger self with all the compassion you bring towards everything else in your life and that everything can, and will, be okay.
