I loved it! Jessica tells a very hard tale of postpartum with so much heart and humor. We feel her confusion and rage as she tries to navigate the unexpected loneliness and shame she experienced in early motherhood. As someone who doesn't have kids, it was eye-opening to delve into that experience with her. And yet, through her journey, I wound up moved to tears as Jessica ends in a place that is truly and powerfully loving, both for herself and her son. Anyone who's ever felt wrong in their body or their "place" needs to see this!... full review

I’m not even a parent, and I was totally hooked. Jessica is a force. The show’s hilarious, honest, and full of heart. I laughed out loud, got choked up, and kept thinking “yep, been there” even without the baby part. Whether you're a mom or just trying to keep it together as a human, go see this.... full review

This show moved me to my core. Jess’s bravery, humor and raw emotion was deep. Such an intimate and relatable dive into early motherhood and the full range of human emotion that comes with it. And it was f*%king hilarious. This is a “can’t miss” show, without a doubt. ... full review

I thought the humor, raw intensity, and creative use of a limited set converged into a seamless, highly emotional experience. Whether you identify as a mother or not, there's something here for anyone that wants to better understand how to be honest about the hardest parts of our lives and those of us that constantly use humor as our shield against the harsh realities of the world. The audience participation elements were also a big plus -- don't be afraid to jump in! (SIDE NOTE: I heard they REALLY need tickets sales for the matinee on 6/22, so please go to that one if you're able!) ... full review
