What I liked

Everything about it. The use of modern slang in a Napoleonic setting was hysterical. I loved when Helewise paused to toss out relevant information to the audience. All the actors did a fantastic job and obviously had a lot of fun doing it. The audience participation was really fun too!

What I didn't like

I can think of only one area for improvement: Sometimes the audience participants had trouble seeing their lines projected on the wall (the sculpture blocked their line of sight) or didn’t realize when they were supposed to speak.

My overall impression

Hilarious, informative, engaging. This show was such a treat. I had a blast, laughed my ass off, and learned some interesting historical facts. This show shines an important light on the experiences and perspectives of women and the struggles even the most privileged faced during the Napoleonic era and today. I can’t recommend this show enough.
