What I liked
Shannon Corbeil delivers a sexy, fearless performance as Pauline Bonaparte, she commands the stage and is absolutely magnetic. Deborah Lee Smith is hilarious and artfully intentional as the effeminate Prince Borghese. Shelley Regner crushes it as Emperor Napoleon and Grace Stockdale was so impressive coming in as a last minute replacement in the role of Helewise – basically cold reading her performance in such a masterful way. I also loved the audience participation aspect which was so engaging and added an extra layer of comedy!
These actors are clearly having a blast on stage!!!

My overall impression
This show is AMAZING!! Shannon Corbeil knocks it out of the park with this brilliant script that kept me laughing OUT LOUD! I’m a lover of history and have read plenty about Napoleon over the years, but you don’t have to be a history geek like me to enjoy this play – the story telling is masterful and HILARIOUS! I had such a great time! Stop reading this and buy your ticket! GO SEE THIS PLAY NOW!!!
