What I liked

I loved the quick-witted, fast-paced writing—it was just so clever. The overall theme of the show was spot on for today’s climate. I also loved the acting; every performer was incredibly strong, effortlessly delivering sharp comedic one-liners and then flipping to powerful, dramatic moments in an instant.

I really enjoyed the historical facts sprinkled throughout the show as well—they added a great layer of depth.

What I didn't like

Off the top of my head, honestly—nothing. I thought the show was incredibly strong from start to finish.

My overall impression

I knew this was going to be a good play—Shannon is a fantastic writer—but I didn’t know it was going to be that good! From the opening to the very end, I laughed, I got teary-eyed, I learned historical facts, and I just loved it.
