What I liked

The DIY costumes and set pieces were charming as heck and so impressive to pack such a punch for this Fringe period piece. So much care went into them and you could see and feel it. Loved the creativity to bring some potentially tricky devices to life.
The performances were silly in the best way. It was nice to laugh during such a serious time.

What I didn't like

Needs more stage time! I got so enveloped in the characters and historical facts, that one hour was simply a tease!

My overall impression

What a FUN night at the theater! This hilarious, irreverent, self-aware, broad comedy hits all of the notes in its 60 minutes. The actors were committed, present, and were generous and amazing listeners to each other and the audience members who got roped in to the fun. I didn’t know much about Pauline before the show, but now she feels like an old friend. Appreciated the callouts to modern day parallels and the feminist commentary. HIGHLY recommend!
