The writing was witty, fast-paced and drew playful parallels between today’s sociopolitical landscape and the early 1800s; the audience participation was always delightful and never tiresome; and the four actors played off each other beautifully, creating a kind of controlled madness that was pure fun to watch (and occasionally participate in).
What I didn't like
Nothing! It’s the most refreshing hour of no-fourth-wall theatre I have seen in a long time, and I will be sure to see it again before the show closes.
My overall impression
A rollicking, heartfelt, sexually charged, nonstop joyride of a play about one of history’s lesser-known feminist icons. A very well-crafted and sharply executed farce with larger than life personas and clever banter that will have you smiling and belly laughing from beginning to end.
