Audience interactions, breaking the 4th wall, the bathtub sound effects, the buggle gun, everything about the bathtub scene, the meta acknowledgement of the accents, the dance scene (yay choreography!), the way actors effectively portrayed different characters. The sword guns had me cackling. I could go on. Loved it.
What I didn't like
I wasn’t sure if the “reserved” seats were actually reserved or if anyone could sit there. Understood after the first audience interaction that those seats were the selected audience people.
My overall impression
An hilarious romp into the life of Pauline Bonaparte. The show was well crafted with great comedic timing and wonderful performances by all the actors (including the audience!). I gained both an education about this niche part of history and an ab work out from all the laughs.
