What a joy this show was! While the entirety of the story can’t be conveyed in a short 45-minutes, the timeless themes of family dysfunction, hurting the ones you (supposedly) love, and breaking cycles of generational trauma to find happiness rang true. Beautiful performance, band was great, cast was amazing with exceptional voices. This performance tapped on experiences that we all face with our families, regardless what the background is, but most of all, the truth and reality makes you want to see more. Can't wait for full production. Barri's exceptional story telling, w humor helped the audience understand that getting through life can take two directions, one as a bystander, OR by taking your faith into your own hands. ...

Although this one-hour version of the play did not feature the full experience, I could sense how the dialogue will pull the songs together into a cohesive storyline. I look forward to the opportunity to see the full play....

The show was undeniably fun and engaging, with catchy music that stayed with me even after the performance. However, some technical challenges—particularly with sound—made it difficult to hear many of the vocalists clearly, which unfortunately impacted the storytelling. The narrative itself felt somewhat hard to follow, possibly due to the abbreviated format, and left me questioning whether this was a story that needs to be told or if more of the songs might have brought the full arc into sharper focus....
