What I liked
I liked how the show presented different perspectives on dating and how false narratives/misinformation from the dark web/social media can influence human behavior. Being of mixed heritage, I highly recommend this to anyone that doesn’t fit into a single check-marked box definition of race.

Recommend! I thoroughly enjoyed this show. My Tiger is an authentic look at double racism and misunderstandings that occur when one is of mixed race that leaves the audience questioning the meaning of identity. Normally a complex topic, writer Dionysius Vlachos successfully manages to highlight different aspects of racism and makes it easily relatable. The narrator takes you through various aspects of life via a mixed race lens and uncovers the challenges of racism and bias that can occur at different life stages. It shows the complexity of looking like one race on the outside but being of a different race on the inside, while others pressure you to choose one. An honest piece that allows the audience to come to its own understanding of race, racism, expectations, and stereotypes. Don’t miss this!
