I liked the structure of the show, I think the vignettes with the playwright speaking in between was powerful and flowed well. I think everyone did a spectacular job!
What I didn't like
I enjoyed hearing the playwright speak, but sometimes I wished it felt more succinct. Not that I think it should be entirely scripted because I did enjoy the interpersonal connection with the audience and I think it’s meaningful to the show. However, I think sometimes because it felt a little too unplanned that the message in between scenes wasn’t always as clear as I think was intended.
My overall impression
My Tiger was excellent! I personally did not relate, but I did bring a friend who did and they reacted viscerally. I think it was thought provoking for both myself and my friend. I think this show did a great job of providing a window of insight into an experience that not everyone faces, and a mirror to those who do experience it to feel seen.
