What I liked

Committed performances all around by these two badass ladies, capturing the full spectrum of human emotion.. and yes, even realms of actual terror. It also has a lot of heart – so much that one hopes the best for these mismatched idiosyncratic sisters..

Gotta give a shout out to my boy Jim Hanna. He is literally one of my favorite living actors… I mean… The intelligence seethes from him, and the pathos he delivers is always indisputable. And for fellow die hard Hanna fans out there, I can assure you YES, he does make an appearance in his new play TRUNK – even though it’s in video form – it’s Indisputably powerful, as well as essential to the overall piece.

What I didn't like

Jim Hanna is too young looking.

My overall impression

TRUNK is a high wire act for its two main players, forcing them to adjust tactics and redefine their relationship at every hard-hitting twist and turn. Some brilliant work happening here. And for any brave soul willing to confront its darker questions, there’s a treasure to be unpacked in TRUNK
