What I liked

Lucie Beeby and Kate Hellen’s chemistry onstage is so fun to watch. As sisters always teetering between either hugging or punching one another, the dynamic is crystal clear from the beginning and only gets more bizarre as it goes on. Jim Hanna’s script is also concise, funny, disturbing, and ultimately nightmarish in the best possible way.

My overall impression

A mystery that slowly becomes more twisted as it goes, “Trunk” features two strong performances in a darkly funny play that will leave you with a pit in your stomach as you try to figure out the deranged secrets. Can’t spoil it here, so do yourself a favor and see it!
