Emma and Liz, two sisters with a fraught history, proceed to the dark task of cleaning out their father’s home following his death. Decades of tension and pettiness come to a head as they approach their final task: somehow opening their father’s locked trunk and revealing the dark secrets within. What is in their dead father’s trunk and why did he lock it? “Trunk” is a grim horror/comedy of long buried secrets and the disorienting terrors of grief.
