My overall impression
Wow!! This is a MASTERPIECE! It’s the kind of show you text your friends about immediately after because you’re so blown away by it. Laurie handled her very unnerving story with incredible skill, finesse and comedic timing. Besides being a great performer, she is truly an excellent writer – selecting riveting and hilarious details to build character and move her story along. The audience was stunned and emotionally engaged throughout. In fact, a guy in my show kept muttering “Oh my god! Oh my god!” through the entire show.
