I was blown away by the sheer amount of energy packed into 90 minutes of this delightful play but what caught me off guard even more was the amount of heart and emotional honesty that was woven into this hilarious parody of the Titanic. This was one of the most interactive plays I've watched and much of its success can be attributed to Mallie McCown's tremendous stage presence and comic timing. ...

Magnificent, hilarious, brilliant and beautiful in every single way, Fuck! An Iceberg: A One Woman Titanic is one of my absolute favorite shows I've seen at Fringe, ever. Mallie Mccown invites you into her mad world with effervescence, with her diary entries being perfectly incorporated into the hysterical reenactment of Titanic, both cassette tapes and all. This piece has Mallie's heart on full display, along with uproarious crowd work. There is truly never a dull moment in this gorgeous piece. Also, Dylan George is a fascinating magician and hilarious counterpart to aid in Mallie's storytelling. This is one of those shows you do not want to miss this Fringe season. I laughed my butt off, I cried my eyes out, and I went home wanting to watc...

This 90-minute tour-de-force made me laugh and cry. Mallie is a charming, hilarious and engaging performer. It represents the very best of what the Fringe festival has to offer -- wildly inventive, fundamentally theatrical, fun and moving. This is a must-see....

I never thought I would be so emotionally moved by a comedic one person show, especially one entitled "Fuck! An Iceberg". Mallie McCown brilliantly distills the beloved classic into a one person extravaganza while sacrificing none of essential characters, moments, plot points, or memes. But more importantly, McCown gifts the audience with the vulnerability of her real childhood journal entries. She allows the audience to draw parallels between her experiences and the Oscar winning film that has had such an impact on her life. The production is a chaotic ballet of props, hats, wigs, set pieces, water, and volunteers. Endlessly clever and brilliantly written!...

This show was for sure one of my favorites at fringe this year. The way Mallie could switch from one character to another so fast and give each person their own distinct personality was just pure TALENT! I just know this show took so much time and dedication and it showed on that stage. She gave it her all up there. This show was hilarious, heartfelt and wholesome. I want to see it again so bad. I definitely wish I got to see it more than once! ...
