What I liked
The set was dynamic and much more elaborate than your average fringe show, and I thought the way the cast interacted with it and changed locations was very clever. I also loved the relationship the two siblings shared, it was nice to see Andy’s growth impact Milo in a positive way.

My overall impression
Girl Blood doesn’t shy away from the things we used to whisper about in middle school. This team jumps into discussions of puberty, sexual identity, and changing relationships head first. I thought the way they explored what gets passed down from mother to daughter, sibling to sibling, was executed brilliantly and it made me reflect on my own experiences at that age. Congrats to the whole team!
