Everything. This is a play that I am already seeing again with my parents who are coming to town. It will need to have a longer run than fringe <3
What I didn't like
Bring it everywhere
My overall impression
I left the theater only moments ago can confidently know that this piece will remain with me. Already a concept that I knew I would enjoy but I couldn’t have predicted to the degree that I love it. The second Andy’s brother tried on the necklace I knew. That was me. Currently the powers that be tell us to hate our bodies and that they are unnatural yet they could not be more wrong. Every time the mirror was brought back to center stage we watched a character scrutinize themselves and find things to hate. The people around them never hated though. The people around them were the ones offering the truest of reflections. Thank you to the whole cast for letting me step back in time 20 years and watch little trans me discover my body is mine and not what I was told it should be <3
