What I liked
The writing and performance and direction of this show was so seamless and seemingly effortless and so funny and touching and surprising moment to moment.
Do Better is as good as theatre gets and it moved and delighted and inspired me!
What I didn't like
I want to hear more of his story and like any good show, it left me wanting more!!
My overall impression
Izzy is a masterful storyteller who captivated the audience through his vulnerable and hilarious show. His magic and “perfect” segues were disarming and revelatory and the whole theatre was on this deeply personal journey with him at every turn because he engaged us so beautifully.
