There are so many lovely moments where the characters really get to vent about their respective situations. The actors then get to share some terrific, vulnerable moments that really hit you in the chest.
What I didn't like
I think it’s great that this was billed as a workshop as there is still some work to do on the script. The idea overall is a great one, it just needs some finessing.
My overall impression
An intriguing look at grief from a different angle, “Gloryhole” subverts title expectations with a tender script and solid performances, proving that hope is sometimes found where you least expect it.
