What a ride! Fast paced and held my attention the entire time. The subject matter was extremely topical and acting was very natural. I felt as if I was eavesdropping in their condo! Narration and background music added to the ambiance. Well done team Terminations Fee!

Dark humor fun relatable
Loved this play! The writing and acting were amazing. I laughed a lot and the time flew by. It tackled heavy, relatable themes but kept it fun—a perfect dark comedy. I left feeling good and still thinking about it afterward. I could watch Sara and Ron all day!...

With ingenious script writing, a well constructed heartfelt message about love, loss and life accompanied with an exquisite performance from duo Ron Placone and Sara Kay Godot, Termination Fee is one of those pieces that you remember long after the shows end. Ron's writing is so poignant to today. A powerfully acted production that not only thoroughly rips America's garbage healthcare system a new one, but allows me to feel a certain type of way so that I laugh-so-I-don't-cry but also cry-so-I-wanna-do-something. Does that make sense? No? Well, Termination Fee does make a heck of a lot of sense. The jokes are poignant, relatable, and relevant to the moment. The timelessness struck me, because some lines felt almost like they could have been written just that morning, months ago, or 10 years prior. The story set out what it aimed to achieve, and is exactly the art we need in our culture today, given the hyper-capitalist, hyper-exploitative nature of our systems - especially for-profit healthcare - that are designed to tear us down phys...
