About the Project
The play is a dark odyssey about how
easy it is to become a trafficking
victim and what life is like inside that
realm. Set in modern day Africa, Malaysia,
and the United States, the play explores a world in which men, women, and children are bought, sold, and traded like livestock.
We follow a woman named Angel as she is shipped to different countries, degraded, used, and abused, all while continuing to have faith that one day she’ll be able to escape the hell in which she finds herself.
