The ensemble had electric chemistry and the direction was precise and professional…I mean….It HAS to be for such physical clowning and clever jokes! They nailed the delivery of every line and the physical comedy was classic and incredibly well-done. They had a command of the stage at all times and interlaced the audience participation with poise and humor.
What I didn't like
As a trained Shakespearean actor, I WILL say …. NO NOTES! It was elated Elizabethan perfection!
My overall impression
This was the brilliant, weird step-child of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged” and “The Play that Goes Wrong” with a spicy side of all things DEATH. It was cleverly written, passionately played, and just a pure romp through controlled chaos that had us giggling from start to finish. This is the type of show that starts at a small fringe and ends up Off-Broadway. Do not miss this show!
