Pro acting, compelling writing, mood-setting sound design, and well-earned final storytelling beats. The show comes full circle with a few “ah ha!” moments along the way. The comedic moments help break up the dread.
What I didn't like
The use of projections felt underwhelming and didn’t necessarily elevate storytelling (aside for a crucial explainer in final scene). A few sound cues could have used more fluid transitions. Scenic design was minimal, simply used to facilitate the story rather than provide a world for it.
My overall impression
A haunting exploration of generational trauma. A mind twisting, gut wrenching piece of theatre that leaves you with the juxtaposed feelings of completion and unease.
