Polite Conversations and Wine

This show is absolutely beautiful in every aspect. The staging and the set, the actors, the direction, all executed with complete and utter class. This is probably the eighth or ninth show that I have seen during the period of the Fringe, and this is the ONLY review I have been compelled to write. This is exactly how I want to feel when I go to the theatre, moved to tears, emotional, invested, wanting the best for the characters on stage. It is hard to put into words how much I absolutely loved everything about this piece of theatre. I would watch it again right now, and it has just finished 15 minutes ago. Polite Conversations and Wine is anything but polite. The characters here are all fully realized, you can't help but sympathize with them as they say hurtful things to each other. Despite having such a sweet sounding title, this show is incredibly tense and kept me hooked throughout.... full review
