For some reason, I juxtaposedthe title and told several friends they have to see "Polite Wine with Conversation"--but, call it what you will, this is a do-not-miss piece of Fringe theatre. Crisply-paced--but never hurried--Ann Noble's direction is gorgeous. Performances by Amy Marcs and Leah Jarvik were wonderful, deftly limning the love and pain that seem to exist in every mother-daughter relationship. Mikki Hernandez and Robin McDonald were equally deft, offering a very different mother-daughter relationship.. Writer Michael Perlmutter has an ear for dialogue, and provides his talented cast with a strong foundation for their considerable talents.Grab a ticket while you can!...

Polite Conversations and Wine is what I yearn for and love about storytelling in the theater. A story that unfolds originally but in a way I can follow and lean in for what's next. Sensational chemistry among these four women!...

This show is absolutely beautiful in every aspect. The staging and the set, the actors, the direction, all executed with complete and utter class. This is probably the eighth or ninth show that I have seen during the period of the Fringe, and this is the ONLY review I have been compelled to write. This is exactly how I want to feel when I go to the theatre, moved to tears, emotional, invested, wanting the best for the characters on stage. It is hard to put into words how much I absolutely loved everything about this piece of theatre. I would watch it again right now, and it has just finished 15 minutes ago. The 4 Actors find a beautiful balance between tender sensitive moments, and tension, conflict and exploring trauma!!! Ayyyy. I want...
