What I liked
The Black Cat is my favorite of Poe’s stories, but many people have never read or heard of it. Pairing it with The Raven is a perfect choice; exploring two men at different points of life struggling with similar issues of grief and accountability as they spiral into madness gave me a new insight into both tales. The lighting was very nice, as was the soundscape.
What I didn't like
The costume change took a wee bit of time, but totally worth it and actually interesting to watch.
My overall impression
An excellent, grounded performance of two of Poe’s greatest hits acted with subtlety and grace.
