My overall impression
I had heard mixed things about EXORCISTIC so I came in somewhat skeptical, but within five minutes I was a total rock musical groupee, following every actor and every word with GLEE. There, I said it; it’s gleeful. It’s funny. It’s smart. It’s meta and magical and will make you laugh harder than you have laughed all year. (Think SPRING AWAKIENING meets ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW.) Michael Shaw Fisher has based his book – at times quite literally – on the movie THE EXOCIST. So if you were offended by the language in that, you will be offended by this. But take a leap of faith and see something that is everything the Fringe is supposed to be.
