I’m such a sucker for the combination of a live band, lush costumes, and Parisian flair that immediately transports you to France. The performers, especially Carl Drecker and Lisa, deliver strong vocals and ballads that resonate. With a blend of dance, harmony, and cinematic backdrop, every moment feels vibrant and well-staged.
What I didn't like
Any desire for deeper exploration or extended runtime is actually a compliment—it means you’re fully engaged. A few critics mentioned wishing the orchestra had a silent scene to shine or digging slightly into the plot. But that longing for more detail proves how much the show draws you in.
My overall impression
This is top-tier Fringe production value. Professional staging, clever libretto, seamless transitions, and a band that drives every moment create a masterpiece that feels Broadway-ready. It’s whimsical, romantic, musically rich, and utterly enchanting—a show that stays with you long after the lights go down!
