About the Project
Written by Anton Chekhov with a new translation from the Director and ensemble. Directed by Ross Shenker. The characters: artists, non-artists, and those who are somewhere in between. For two hours, they ask and show us what it is to be human. Perhaps the greatest play ever written, this is Chekhov’s first masterpiece presented like you have never seen it before. No proscenium, no period sets or costumes, no rules—just the text, ten young actors, and human imagination bring this brilliant work to life. This is Clear Plastic’s inaugural production.
