What I liked
I was fascinated that the entire show was scripted because much of it appeared to be pure stream of consciousness! The colorful light design and set decorations added a mystical element to Janya’s performance
What I didn't like
Before the audience participation reading started, I would have liked a clarification of the role being read so I would be less confused.
My overall impression
It took guts for Janya to perform a show about her psychosis. She manages to let us in to her over-analytical and often disorganized thought process without alienating us because she weaves her “episodes” together with guiding side comments and interludes to the audience, demonstrating she can think normally, be fully cognizant and charming.
