I was so impressed with how the writer took a whole Shakespeare play and condensed it into an hour without losing the best and funniest scenes of the play. I heard it was a modern re-telling so I thought it would be in modern language, but they brilliantly still used Shakespeare’s words. The modernisms came out in the costuming and acting. But the beautiful poetic words of Shakespeare were intact. I could tell the cast was enjoying themselves and that added to the joyful experience for the comedic scenes. There is at least one funny Easter Egg I found that I won’t spoil for you, but keep y our eye out for it!

My overall impression
Bite sized Shakespeare! Half the time but with all the fun!
