Gerard Peters is very likable as the Prince of Darkness and connects well with his audience. I really liked the concept of Dracula doing stand-up. Very creative.
What I didn't like
My husband said something to me after the show that resonated. During the show, Gerard was drinking a canned soft drink. He said this could be an opportunity to show Dracula drinking “blood.” Maybe pop open a “blood bag,” pour the contents (beet juice maybe?) into a glass. While drinking, can comment on whose blood it is, how it tastes, etc.
My overall impression
I didn’t know what to expect going in. All I knew was it was Dracula doing stand-up. I was sold! I was not disappointed. I had a fun time. I could see this show being especially raucous on a late-night Saturday when there would indeed be more interaction with the audience.
