• Direct interaction with audience
• Periodic freezes in Dracula pose with all lights out but for small spotlight
• A joke that was set up early on and paid off later
• Costume & makeup
What I didn't like
• Fewer pauses to think; pacing
• Pausing to look at notes & telling audience what he’s doing, but not as a joke
• More confidence
• Fewer pop culture references or none at all, because audience didn’t get them
• Especially the lengthy reality show reference that didn’t land because the audience wasn’t familiar with it
My overall impression
Lots of audience interaction with a likable performer. A bit like watching a student film though, if you know what I mean: not polished, but still fun. That’s what the Fringe Festival is all about! :)
