The production is buoyed by a stellar cast who breathe life into each character with nuance, relatability and depth. Bravo to the entire cast for their mesmerizing performances that leave a lasting impression.

A full run would allow for the stage to match the talent of the Writer/Director and talented cast.
My overall impression
In the riveting exploration of love, ambition, envy and the intricacies of marriage, “The Goodlucks” is immediately captivating with its poignant portrayal of a powerhouse entertainment couple who struggle to navigate the obstacles that come along with marriage, family and success. Writer/Director Maat Atkins’s script is a tapestry of wit, humor and honesty, that skillfully guides the audience through the highs and lows of his main characters Bert Goodluck and Juanita Tyson. He confronts universal truths about ambition, identity, and the pursuit of artistic fulfillment with honesty, grace and good humor.
