Glad to see representation of a well to do Black family. The story, fashion and drama that unfurls keeps the audience wanting more.
George was a hilarious comic relief.
What I didn't like
The theatre space was narrow and all the big furniture was placed near the entrance. So the 5-7 late comers who couldn’t walk past due to the furniture were a distraction. I started looking at the late comers as they stood against the wall hoping they’d sit down.
My overall impression
Great play about a wife and husband chasing the accolades of their careers and how it impacts the real meaning of family…love.
