What I liked
The characters! They felt so lived in and their dynamic as a team instantly meshed so well together. You understand and root for all four characters within moments of meeting them, and scenes like the car ride sing-along stand out for the genuine connection made between the characters and between the audience.
What I didn't like
Nothing really! I wish I could be more helpful, but it really feels like a fantastic, realized show. I would love to see how it evolves with a bigger budget!
My overall impression
Every part of this production fires on all cylinders. From the script to the direction, performances, and design, every artist a part of this show delicately balances humor and trauma, the absurd and the very much real. Norma the dinosaur, to me, will go down in the lexicon of iconic theatrical characters.
