Very impressive allegory of using the silly metaphor of a dinosaur to represent sexual abuse/trauma of an inner child. Way to present a heavy topic with well-balanced tension, drama, silliness, and a way for the main character to heal from it. Be ready to laugh, cry, and feel everything. Tickles the heart, warms the soul, and makes you leave the theater feeling good.... full review

This is one of the best plays I have ever seen. Dinosaurs is not just funny and quirky but is also nostalgic and deep with tackling a topic as serious and traumatic as sexual assault. The humor and tragedy balanced each other out with very likeable and fun characters who have great dialogue and chemistry with each other. What touched me the most was how many ways in which the main character got back in touch with healing their own inner child. That was beautiful and healing to witness. ... full review

An amazingly funny and moving story about healing past childhood trauma and trying to move past when closure suddenly no longer becomes possible with the person responsible. A frenetic, funny, sensitive and thought provoking take on trauma and time travel. It dealt with some really tough topics by infusing the characters dealing with them and the world they were in with joy, humor and hope, leaving the audience utterly invested in their emotional journey/dinosaur road trip. ... full review

Every part of this production fires on all cylinders. From the script to the direction, performances, and design, every artist a part of this show delicately balances humor and trauma, the absurd and the very much real. Norma the dinosaur, to me, will go down in the lexicon of iconic theatrical characters. ... full review

A really cool way to talk about trauma. Sometimes there is a physical manifestation of trauma staring you in the face until you are able to work through it and Dinosaurs did that so well. Absurd in such a fun way and touching in others. A fun journey of trying to heal your inner child and move past the things that made and hurt us. ... full review

Incredible show! DINOSAURS was alternatingly wacky and heart-wrenching, absurd and painfully real. The actors were phenomenal, and I loved all of the emo Easter eggs. Can't wait to see what becomes of this beautiful show!... full review
