All four of the actors were so. dang. good. They each had their moments to inspire both laughs and tears- which is just as much a credit to the balanced writing. Favorite things:
Loved how the main three really felt closer by the time they get to the end of the drive.
The beat at the door is perfectly paced, as is the twist of the kid answering.
That kid felt like such a real kid.
The ending is WONDERFUL.
What I didn't like
I’m sure there are little things but I couldn’t pick up on them! The writing when the trio assembles is pretty chaotic, but I could follow everything and felt the emotional back and forths!
My overall impression
DINOs be wonderful and fun and heartfelt. It was so focused and full of life and everybody in the whole room felt it. I teared up from the vulnerable moments and I laughed every few seconds! Bravo for this focused brush stroke of a play!
