There were so many little details that made the show so engaging the whole time. If something was happening on one side of the stage, the other characters on stage would still be acting, even if the spotlight wasn’t on them. A lot of great sight gags and bits came from those moments. But even though it was heavily based in comedy, it did an excellent job of taking the serious moments seriously and giving them the weight and time needed to sit with the audience.
What I didn't like
Gimme some of those sour patch kids!
My overall impression
What a fun time! You go in expecting a fun romp with dinosaurs and come out having been deeply moved by the pain and growth of the main characters. Extremely heartfelt, even with heavy subject matter. Highly recommend for the laughs and the bitter sweetness.
