A show full of heart and comedy, even when tackling dark topics, this show is another hit written by Mandy Rubeli. One of my favorite shows I had the pleasure to see this Fringe, with moments and quotes I will be thinking about for a long time after having seen it....

Do not miss this show. Dinosaurs is spectacular.
Under the bold and meticulous co-direction of Hannah Cairo and Linnea Gardener, a script containing absurdity and realism in equal measure is brought to life with a beautifully crafted combination of comedy and sincerity.
Dinosaurs has no lulls, but the pace isn’t breakneck either. There are rarely fewer than two things happening on stage, but each moment is so perfectly directed that you’ll always know where to look.
You will immediately fall in love with Allie Rothfield and their character Norma, the show’s titular dinosaur. She is brash and endearing, and creates comedic relief (often wordlessly) that elevates the play’s depiction of trauma rather than distracts from it.

I had a strong feeling that I would find the show hilarious, but what I wasn't expecting was to laugh heartily while also being incredibly moved by the genius allegorical approaches that this show brilliantly takes. I found all of the characters to be incredibly rootable, I found myself sincerely deeply invested in what happened to each of them, which is a huge accomplishment, particularly in a shorter play. I think that everyone who sees this play, regardless of their life circumstances, can heavily relate to the primary themes of the play, and will encourage them to engage in profound introspection about the power that each of our actions holds, particularly regarding the effect that it can have on others.
