Very impressive allegory of using the silly metaphor of a dinosaur to represent sexual abuse/trauma of an inner child. Way to present a heavy topic with well-balanced tension, drama, silliness, and a way for the main character to heal from it. Be ready to laugh, cry, and feel everything. Tickles the heart, warms the soul, and makes you leave the theater feeling good.... full review

Dinosaurs achieves the seemingly impossible feat of mining PTSD and sexual abuse for comedic purposes. It certainly helps that the humor is not directed at the subject matter but rather used as a shield that allows the sensitive topic to be brought to light and examined. It also helps that the catalyst to exploring the trauma is a talking, intelligent dinosaur.... full review

This is one of the best plays I have ever seen. Dinosaurs is not just funny and quirky but is also nostalgic and deep with tackling a topic as serious and traumatic as sexual assault. The humor and tragedy balanced each other out with very likeable and fun characters who have great dialogue and chemistry with each other. What touched me the most was how many ways in which the main character got back in touch with healing their own inner child. That was beautiful and healing to witness. ... full review
