What I liked
Loved the playfulness with the lighting cues. Great visuals/projections. Great writing!
What I didn't like
I would love to see this again once Joy is off book; but you know it’s already good even with book in hand!
My overall impression
A much needed show! As a fellow Filipina American, it was so refreshing to be in a space where we’re openly talking about sexuality and challenging family dynamics. Joy’s vulnerability and humor around these themes brought me in. Can’t wait for more folx to catch this show!
