I loved his descriptions and reenactments about growing up with immigrant parents, in a small town and being part of a generation where coming into your own as a gay man truly meant being stuck in your head and not knowing where to find the support that exists today. I loved that he showed us that being a Madonna wannabe and a Swifty simply means nothing more than just being super cool!

My overall impression
Cyrus gave us an amazingly heartfelt, upbeat, and sincere depiction of his youth in Everett, WA through his adult life in Seattle and Los Angeles. He made us laugh, tear up and really feel deeply on such a human level.
