The performances from Maya Knell and Sofia Joanna were true to life, tender, and funny. The humor and heartbreak are perfectly balanced in this piece.
I was previously unfamiliar with Mikvahs and other orthodox Jewish cultural ideas touched upon in this play. I am so glad to have learned a little more about humanity through watching this – this is what theater is for.

My overall impression
By far my favorite show I have seen at the Fringe this year. Every inch of this production is filled with love and care. The set design is stunning, especially impressive given the Fringe restrictions. Beautiful writing that felt so intimate and real, at times I felt I was intruding. Evidently directed with care, patience, and attention to detail – the tone is perfect, the piece feels like it is living and breathing with you. Not a bit of this production feels out of place, every element comes together perfectly to tell a truly stunning story.
